Yes, sad but true……. we need to go shopping, this is normally an exciting outing, but as it is rather busy at all the centres that we have driven past I for one am not really looking forward to doing any shopping. I think I have a headache already.
One of child twos Christmas gifts was a peircing voucher, so after much discussion he has decided on the tounge peircing…..hmmmmm we’ll see if we come home with one.
Child one now also wants another hole in her face… great. Not too many spots left so not sure where she will get this one… oh she is paying for it herself. Oh and I may get my eyebrow done again. See how much of a headache I get trying to find a parking spot.

my own child wonder wanted pierced ears so despite my misgivings I obliged with a visit to a recommended and registered practice. despite following their instructions re hygiene and alcohol swabs the piercings soon infected and grew lumps behind the child’s ears. however when the said child wonder, in an unsterile environment and using an unsterile object, added five more piercings no infection occurred. not sure what I learned from that … except that young people are inclined to engage in strange and reckless piercings with or without parental co-operation and irregardless of possible consequences.
