$33m, that’s a heap of money

But sadly the lotto ticket that we got as a Christmas gift was not the winning ticket, actually to be truthful we didn’t even get one number on it… The odds of successfully getting no numbers correct in a draw are way better than getting all of the numbers correct, so ummmm does that mean great…. NO it doesn’t. Anyway, see that’s why I don’t buy lotto tickets cause it’s a waste of $10…. or whatever a ticket costs these days.

While Brother Joe is here, he has been very busy in the garden, I should have said we but he has assisted helpfully, we have been pulling out plants and have put some in pots and getting others ready to go in front garden when someone has got that ready. I am thinking that will be me getting it ready, but over the next few weeks, need to source some dirt and rocks. Thankfully the back garden had been made by topsoil not from around here so it was fairly easy to dig up, unfortunatly the same can not be said about the front yard so that will take some time.

The trampoline has been the best addition to the family, it is loved by all, hugged daily and thought about when we are out. *lol*

On Friday, I dragged poor Brother Joe and my male children out to Bunnings, normally a great trip, but Brother Joe had a headache, son number one had just had his tounge peirced and son number two was still suffering from having to walk around a major shopping centre the day before. We got some pots, a shovel and a pitchfork, all essential items for the following day of promised gardening. So today, you could imagine the shock we got when using the pitchfork for the 8th time (poking it in the ground) it broke. Needless to say we took said useless tool back to Bunnings, got a refund, said we would just use the shovel as it was still in one piece and collected some more potting mix.

Checkout girl at Kmart scanned our 5 new large pots as one (woohoo) … then got 20% discount so got the pots, two bags of potting mix and some stickers for child three (enticement to come close to a shopping centre again) all for $20. Very happy indeed. Not quite as arsy as walking off with two dvd’s and forgeting to pay for them….. No Mum, I didn’t do that…….LOL

Looking forward to celebrating New Years Eve at Brother’s house tomorrow night, he has told us about the new toy he has ……. Yay Galaga. It will be nice to have us all in one spot at the one time again. Have to remember camera…. TY to SIL…….K. We have been having fun with the camera and have finally worked out how to get them on the computer. Yay for instruction books.

He is a great gardener, but he declined to hold onto the whippersnipper, so son number one did that, he dug some holes in really really tough ground and transplanted some of the palms, then he ate a passionfruit, sat down and said he was stuffed. He was great. He just got in there and did it, then complained about it, I like that, like that is the total opposite of what the kids do, they complain while doing set tasks… (gardening, putting the rubbish out, put plate on sink, put washing in laundry, get out of bed and go to school, etc etc etc) so therefore making the actual experience ten times as long so naturally they complain.
