Where to start……. oh, I know, two of my kids don’t like cheese. Now, cheese in any dish is fairly identifiable, so therefore, when said cheese has been identified, one would presume that if the person acknowledging that there is cheese on or in any particular dish on offer, would avoid such offerings. Well, if I didn’t like cheese, then I wouldn’t bloody eat it, would I. And, if the only other offerings on the table that did not contain said offending cheese were dry biscuits and a peice of lettuce, then guess what I would eat.
Now, if 12 years of ‘here try some cheese’, ‘cheese is really nice’, and ‘eat your bloody cheese’ hasn’t worked, then I am fairly sure that making a kid (or adult for that matter) feel bad or unappreciative in order to force them to eat cheese probably wouldn’t work either…
Besides, as people may be aware of the size of most of our family and the battles that are made with weight issues in general, avoiding such meals however fantastic they are may be seen as a positive rather than a little shit not eating anything with cheese in it. I don’t mind having any of my kids not eating yet another 75% fat food product.
We had a fantastic Sunday lunch at Brother Scoop and SIL…K’s house, she is a damn fine cook I must admit, always something beautiful and different, I can’t wait until she makes sushi again, great sushi. A great day was had by all (except those who don’t like cheese), wonderful to see family members at anytime, good humor, good company and good food.
Now offically had at least two kids with the flu, the new doctor said he could prescrribe something for it, but it wouldn’t work. We are happy in the knowledge that they will be total immune to this particular flu forever, if they ever get rid of it.

Have a go, it is almost as addictive as the ‘hit’ game posted earlier. Like it says, pop one ball thingo and see how many you can pop with just one pop. This is ever so much more exciting and with the added plus knowing no cyclists were injured.
In other news, Brother Joe is here, caught up with more far far away relatives, made a pav, got four days off work, took some photos, got to show off Kingswood, mopped the floor, hit the cyclist, made plunger coffee, ate cheese, had the lawn mowed, patted the cat, stood on cat, got a sore neck, put PETROL in the Commodore, went to doctor, went to parent teacher interview, called Tafe friend, slept in, started reading Harry Potter, cut my toenails, bought school shoes for child two, cleaned up vomit-covered flu-ridden child three.
It is now 2am, goodnight.
Well, it just so happens that I stumbled across yet another time filler. This one is quite addictive, and I must say, pretty entertaining. Maybe this can be the next Olympic trial sport.
Give it a go…
Have some fun…
No cyclists were injured during the making of this fantastic link…
