Clean BILL of health.

Ok, so we took the dog to the vet, all the family came for the visit. And all is well. He is 10 weeks old, he has had his vaccination, been wormed and had his temp taken, had a sniff of the vet and discovered she had treats, she should have given the whole bloody family a treat considering the cost of the BILL at the end of it all. The dog is in great shape, he is a pure bred Yellow Labrador, and is really cute.

SIL…..K and Brother Scoop will be in his good books provided they bring the same treat for him as they did today, was lots of fun watching him devour the pigskin ear. Ewww, but he loved it, we bought him a couple. Poor child S was a little shy of the new puppy which is a bit odd considering the size of his dog. Child A told her mum she wanted a puppy.

In other news, it has been raining for about 6 days now, evidence in the photo (green grass). We will probably have to mow it next month.

All kids are well, I had Friday off work, that’s it.

P.S. Big heavy rock in dogs waterbowl prevents him dragging said waterbowl over to his bed and tipping it out.

Omg, Omg, Look what we have…..

For some strange reason, I did something I never thought I would do… ever… You could probably take wild guesses about what that may be, but you can probably tell already what it is by the photo.

The only person who is yet to meet the dog, is the cat, it’s been quite comical keeping them apart.. I guess they will meet soon enough. Oh, the cat knows he is here.

 The puppy is a Lab and he is about 11 weeks old, tiny, cute, fluffy and hungry.

His name is Gary.

That’s our news. Just a small addition to the household, small at the moment, he has the biggest feet. Sheesh.

In other news, I have Friday off……… yay at last

I just don’t feel like it………ok

I just can’t be bothered…. doing anything…. at the moment anyway. I have a headache, a have a backache and I am tired. I need a dentist, I need motivation and I need more sleep, I probably need to put gas in the car too. These are needs not wants, I think. Another countdown to when this job contract is to finish, they will either issue me with a two week notice to finish or be asked two days earlier if I can stay, either way I will know at some stage. Sigh, whatever.

Child one off for some more driving lessons this week, hopefully soon she will feel confident enough to ‘go for the test’ otherwise she will need to re-apply for her learners. Tafe and placement are going well for her, although one of our ‘dangerous prisoners’ attends a doctor very close to where she is doing placement. Tafe will finish in Sept then she will go to placement full time to finish the hours. She has started a part time job at one of the local eateries, which she is enjoying.

Child two still participates in schooling in an average manner, not so well indeed. He is still enjoying making his model cars etc etc which he really likes to spend his time on.

Child three is in the bath screaming out for me to come and wash his hair. He is loving school after the week off with the ‘flu’ type cold. After his birthday last week he now has some toys which are taking up his time.

Cleaned and swept and mopped the loungeroom on Sat, ewwww, washed some dishes this morning, took the rubbish out, cleaned a toilet, did some washing and am now blogging. Thats enough for this weekend.

P.S. The darn cat is on heat……. I knew there was something I forgot to do.

Sigh.

I miss Africa…….

I, as you would all know, have never been to Africa, and more to the point, never want to go to Africa, it’s just my daily saying for today. Tomorrow I will have a new one, have to think of one though, I am getting sick of re-using my ‘bugger off’ chant.

Let me tell you about the horrible email I got sometime this week….. Yes it was yet another vile and disgusting one, but this time it was different,…. actually no it wasn’t, it was one of the worst ones she has ever sent. I am sure it would never make the T.V for a speeding deterrent thats for sure, it showed the end result of a speeding motorcyclist and a freight truck, and fairly graphic too. I hope no-one that I know owns a motorcycle. I have now added that persons email to my spam list, which is a pity as sometimes she forwards on some really good, nice and funny emails. But I have had enough of them. But then again, I do open them, so she is not the only one at fault I guess.

It is Wednesday, yay, only two more sleeps till Friday, yay for the weekend.
