For those who know me, this has been an eventful 12 months.
I am now a Grandma to the lovely Archie, he is, as I say, a shining light in an otherwise uneventful, stagnant, boring, boring, boring life.
Kids are all well, Hayley getting ready to move in with Michael, Josh getting ready for his final year in primary school and Kasey, well, I am sure he IS getting ready for something to turn up ….
Work is, well, it’s work. It’s going ok, no more no less, that’s all. Not often you find a workplace where you get to hang about with your mates all day.
The lawn mowers still play up on me … but only when I try to start one up …. I try to avoid doing this most of the time, naturally the lawn is a little messy and the grass is longish. I don’t care.
Eddie, the cat is still alive and kicking despite the best efforts of someone who tried to poison him, he hasn’t quite returned to is normal self, a little guarded if nothing else. You will be shocked to learn that Josh now has another bloody cat, sigh, Scarlet was actually born on Josh’s birthday, so is about 5 months old, and a royal pain in my arse.
Inching ever so much closer to the big 40 … just a couple of months away now.
Which also means we are inching ever so close to the 20 year anniversary of Jay’s death.
Such is life huh.
I don’t think I have done a bad job really, could have been so much worse I guess, we could have more flaming cats.
It’s about time I concentrated on myself for a change ….
